The Davenport Youth Advisory Commission (DYAC), formed by Mayor Bill Gluba and the Davenport City Council, promotes involvement and government awareness in our town's teenagers. The Commission meets the first Monday and third Sunday of each month, and includes smaller public relations and development committees. Currently, the commission members are planning "teen town halls", in which citizens are able to discuss direct ideas and wants with the Commission. As this is still a new addition to our city government, DYAC is open to suggestions and thoughts for future projects.
 DYAC officers include Hannah McAtee, Chairperson, Mickey Herman, Vice Chairperson, and Annie Iossi, Secretary. Additional members of the executive committee include Austin Bird, chairperson of the development committee, and Chase E. Chase, chairperson of the public relations committee. |
